Will 2NE1 work with YG again??

But there was something YG did when 2NE1 disbanded.

I don't think we'd like to work together~~~

I don't know how this discussion will proceed.

Are 2NE1 still under YG? I think they are all under different agencies or are individuals now.

I heard that Waterbomb will be released in its entirety this year. It will be really hot.

[Sports Chosun Reporter Baek Ji-eun] Group 2NE1's CL met with Yang Hyun-suk, the head producer of YG Entertainment (hereafter YG).

According to multiple music industry insiders, CL recently met with Yang Hyun-suk. The two reportedly had an in-depth conversation about 2NE1's future direction. According to the insiders, since 2NE1's reunion last year, CL has often met with Yang Hyun-suk and talked about team activities as well as personal matters.

2NE1 debuted in 2009 with "Fire" and gained recognition for their unique musical style and talent, releasing countless hit songs such as "I Am the Best," "Come Back Home," "I Don't Care," "In the Club," and "Lonely." However, the team suddenly disbanded in 2016, and CL and Minzy stirred controversy when they said, "I found out about 2NE1's disbandment through an article."

2NE1, who were like that, reunited last year to celebrate their 15th debut anniversary and welcomed their fans. They proved their continued presence with the 'Welcome Back' tour. Starting with the Seoul concert in October 2024, all 27 concerts held in 12 cities in 11 countries up until this April were sold out.

Since then, 2NE1 has been promoting 'Apart and Together'. The full group activities were carried out by YG, but since each member's agency has changed, they are coordinating their schedules through consultation. In fact, at the festival performance held in Los Angeles last month, they performed as a trio without Park Bom. However, they will be performing as a full four-member group for 'Waterbomb Bali 2025' held in Bali, Indonesia on September 6th and 7th.

Meanwhile, as it has been confirmed that CL met with Yang Hyun-suk, attention is being paid to what changes will occur in 2NE1's future activities.

Regarding this, YG was cautious with their words, saying, "It is difficult to confirm as it was a personal meeting."
