Deepfake Creator and Seller Sentenced to 2 Years and 6 Months in Prison!

SM Entertainment announced that A, who produced and sold deepfake videos of members Karina and Winter for profit, was sentenced to two years and six months in prison. The 1st Criminal Division of the Daegu High Court sentenced A to actual imprisonment, ordered the completion of an 80-hour sexual violence treatment program, and imposed a seven-year employment restriction at institutions related to children and adolescents. I really hope they receive an even harsher punishment.
