What brought Big Bang's Daesung to YG?
Daesung: YG said they don't show their faces lol
Hey~
In the past, YG did look at the faces of the debut group, but I think it's because they're much more lenient than SM or JYP.
At the time, YG's CEO Yang Sa-jang said that the results were chosen after looking at the faces.
You said it was Big Bang and 2NE1, right?
But the result of this criticism(?) that was strictly based on visuals was Blackpink!
It's said that even CEO Yang was disappointed when Blackpink took over the music industry right after they came out.
I guess it's true that skills are important, but visuals are also important.
Big Bang's Daesung wasn't usually that funny of a character.
Visually, he is always treated as a variety show member or a funny member.
They say it's a character whose entertainment skills were upgraded later in life.
