Daesung reveals his recent status after his performance at the Asia Top Music Festival.

Daesung recently conveyed warm gratitude to his fans after successfully concluding his performance at the 2026 Asia Top Music Festival held in Malaysia. In a photo taken backstage, Daesung is seen wearing a black jacket and making a heart shape with both hands, showing his affection for the fans who attended the event. He also personally shared his thoughts, stating that he was truly happy to spend time with fans he hadn't seen in a long while and that his passion was overflowing.

The event was held at the Sepang International Circuit in Selangor, Malaysia, where Daesung was named to the lineup for the first day and heated up the stage alongside fellow artists such as WINNER and N.MIX. Having steadily solidified his position as a solo singer since his debut with BIGBANG in 2006, Daesung has been actively promoting his first domestic mini-album, "D's WAVE," released in 2025, and kicked off a busy year by holding encore concerts in Seoul and Japan earlier this year.

Daesung is demonstrating his versatility not only in music but also in variety shows and broadcasting. Beyond his past success in variety programs, he has recently shown his depth as a musician by serving as a judge and MC on various music shows, offering warm advice to the participants. It is impressive to see him steadily expanding his own musical world without ceasing concerts and music releases even after completing his diligent military service and being discharged.

I find Daesung’s journey truly remarkable as he tirelessly travels across Asia as both a member of the group Big Bang and a solo artist. I can imagine what kind of positive energy he conveyed through this festival, as he communicates with fans with powerful vocals on stage and a warm, friendly demeanor off stage.
