Daesung has successfully completed his Japanese live tour.

On December 15th, Big Bang's Daesung held the last performance of the 'D-LITE JAPAN LIVE TOUR 2024 “D's IS ME” -Encore' (hereafter referred to as 'D's IS ME') concert in Kobe, Japan.

This performance was part of Daesung's encore concert of his Japanese live tour 'D's IS ME' that was held for approximately two months starting in April of this year, and was held four times in two cities, Tokyo and Kobe, starting on the 30th of last month.

On this day, during the live arena tour, Daesung captivated the eyes and ears of local fans with a feast of diverse setlists including 'Wings', 'Ai', 'Rainy Rainy', Big Bang acoustic, and dance medley.

In particular, the ending of the encore concert was enough to move the audience. Daesung surprised fans with a new song, 'Umbrella (傘) (D's IS ME Limited Edition)' for the last stage, showing off his refreshing yet appealing vocals, and finished the concert with a lingering aftertaste amidst enthusiastic cheers.

'Umbrella' is a new song released about 7 years after 'Delight2' released in 2017. Daesung wrote the lyrics himself.

As much as he participated, the limited edition album containing 'Umbrella' sold out every day at the Tokyo and Kobe concert halls, proving Daesung's solid popularity even after 19 years since his debut.

This year, Daesung has met the public more actively than anyone else. Starting with the release of the single 'Falling Slowly', he communicated with local fans around the world through his first solo domestic fan day 'D's ROAD', his live tour 'D's IS ME' held in 10 cities in Japan, and his Asian fan days held in Taipei, Bangkok, etc.

In addition, Daesung, who led seasons 1 and 2 as an MC for MBN's 'Korea-Japan Top Ten Show' and as a host for YouTube channel 'Home (Outdoor) Daesung', recently went on stage with G-Dragon and Taeyang at the '2024 MAMA AWARDS' and thrilled global fans.

Meanwhile, Daesung plans to continue various activities in 2025.
