'Team Leave' TOP, Returns to Big Bang After 3 Years... Daebak

[TV Report=Reporter Jo Eun-ji] Actor T.O.P (real name Choi Seung-hyun) has reappeared on Big Bang's official channel.

Recently, rumors have been spreading within the BIGBANG fandom that T.O.P, who left the group in 2023, may rejoin the group. This is because T.O.P's name and photo have been added to BIGBANG's official YouTube channel.

According to the fandom, the original Big Bang channel introduction had three names: G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, but recently T.O.P's name was added. However, some fans claim that T.O.P's name was there originally, so attention is focused on the truth of the rumor.

TOP is also creating even more buzz by adding 'TOP', his stage name from his Big Bang days, in front of his name Choi Seung Hyun on his personal channel.

Previously, TOP caused a social controversy in 2016 when he was sentenced to 10 months in prison and 2 months of probation for smoking marijuana. He was unable to appear in public for a while due to the drug controversy.

Since then, T.O.P's exclusive contract with his former agency YG Entertainment ended in 2022 and he has been pursuing independent activities. Since then, T.O.P has become the center of controversy by deleting all content related to BIGBANG from his profile and blocking fans who mentioned BIGBANG. In addition, he has shown actions such as crossing out "BIGBANG" in articles that referred to him as "BIGBANG T.O.P."

Meanwhile, TOP appeared in front of the public again last year through 'Squid Game 2'. In an interview last month, he revealed the behind-the-scenes story of his casting, saying, "I received an audition offer from the production team. I was offered the role of Thanos and had to face my embarrassing past. In fact, I had a lot of concerns. Director (Hwang Dong-hyeok) was kind to me and we did several readings. That's how my casting was confirmed."

TOP made an impression on the audience by appearing as rapper 'Thanos' in 'Squid Game 2', playing a once successful rapper who became a failure in cryptocurrency investment and becoming a waste.

But even if I come back

The Big Bang itself....

I don't know if there is any particular meaning to returning.
