Elle x Jisoo's seasons and their hearts waiting for winter

I was impressed by their energetic appearance until the end, even though the filming took all day, including outdoor filming.

I felt good seeing familiar faces and also because it was my first photoshoot with Elle in a long time. The slightly chilly weather was proof that time was passing quickly in my favorite season, so it was more fun than hard.

In a YouTube interview conducted after filming, she said that she felt excited but also bitter as the end of the year approached. She had a more fulfilling year than anyone else, having successfully completed filming for the Blackpink world tour and her next project, and preparing for solo activities.

The year has passed by so quickly as I have worked so hard. I think I had a bitter feeling for a moment, wondering if I missed something. That is why I am also looking forward to what will happen next year.

I like walking. When was the last time you walked the longest?

I recently went to Namsan to breathe in some fresh air and enjoy some leisure time in nature, but I tried a new route on the way back. When I got to the end of the course, I was so tired that I wanted to go down right away. So I took a side road, but there were no streetlights, and the road was darker than I thought (laughs)! I turned on the flashlight on my smartphone and took each step carefully. At that moment, all I could think about was, 'I have to get down safely.'

I didn't even have time to think about anything else.

So when I finally got down there, I found this situation so funny. Thanks to that, I was able to properly 'heal'!

The thought that comes to my mind most often these days is

I wish it would snow soon. I wish the world would be covered in white and sparkle like a reflector. I wish I could see smiling, bright faces.

Your solo debut song 'Flower' recently reached 500 million streams on Spotify. How is it working on your new song right now? Since you established a personal agency named after Jisoo, has anything changed in the process?

Not only music, but I have to make a lot of decisions from start to finish. I pay attention to each and every one of them, but I also wonder if I'm missing something. But when I feel that many people are helping me, I feel motivated for sure. My gratitude grows. I think that when we complete something together, the meaning will feel greater. It's difficult, but there are definitely enjoyable parts. I want to share it with you soon.

Time has passed and it's already been 8 years since your debut. Next year, Blackpink will make a comeback and have another world tour. What do you want to do better?

I think it's always most important to finish all the shows safely in a consistent condition. If no one gets hurt or sick and it's a tour that everyone can remember for a long time, I couldn't ask for more.

Even during her school days when she studied hard and during the Coachella festival when she stood on stage while taking painkillers, she said that it was her pride that made it possible for her to do this. For Jisoo now, ‘pride’ is

Pride is also a driving force for me. I don't show much pride in my relationships or with other people, but I've been feeling a lot lately that I definitely have pride and stubbornness when it comes to things I have to do. I'm not the type to be this obsessed, but when I look back on why I'm so obsessed with certain things, I realize that no matter what the outcome, my pride won't forgive me if I neglect it even a little. It's like healthy pride, so I try to love this side of me too.

It's already December. If I had to pick the warmest moment of the year,

2024 was a year filled with many first-time challenges. Starting new things, I received a lot of help and support, and that in itself was enough to feel warm. If this year was a new turning point in my life, I think next year will be the starting point.

Winter, my favorite season, is starting. What image of childhood naturally comes to mind during this season?

Ever since I was little, whenever it snowed, I would watch the snow fall outside the window for a long time, even when everyone was asleep. The snow is the most beautiful when it falls from the sky. Even now, on snowy nights, I turn off all the lights, sit in front of the window, and look up at the sky for a long time.
