The news that Boy Next Door's HOME has re-entered the charts makes me think about the power of music that is rediscovered. While the initial interest upon release is important, there are songs that come to mind and are played again after some time has passed. That is why the mention of a re-entry sounded particularly welcome this time.

It is said that HOME ranked 177th on the Billboard 200 dated October 17. It also ranked 3rd on the World Albums chart and 9th on Top Album Sales. Additionally, Boy Next Door was listed at number 81 on the Artist 100 chart.

However, listeners don't always check the charts first. Some days they listen because of a single line of lyrics, and other days they look it up because a part of a member's voice comes to mind. So, when I imagine various people revisiting the same album for their own reasons, the record feels a little more familiar.

In particular, the title "HOME" evokes the image of a comfortable place to return to in everyday life. Of course, I don't want to define the meaning of the entire album by the title alone, but perhaps that is why it seems to fit well with the description of music to keep by your side for a long time. Also, seeing the photo of the members together naturally brings to mind the atmosphere they project as a team.

Taking this news as an opportunity, I would like to listen to the album again from the beginning. However, rather than listening just to check the charts, I think it would be better to find songs that resonate with me right now. Also, comparing how much my taste has changed since I first listened to it would be a small source of fun.
