Hosted by Seo Eun-kwang, opening the story of new music

새 음악의 이야기를 여는 서은광 진행

I saw the news that Seo Eunkwang is hosting a new program called "Green Room." While it is nice to see him singing on BTOB's stage, this activity felt a little different to me because his role involves bringing up other singers' music. I felt that a music conversation hosted by a singer would involve questions that songwriters can share with one another.

According to an article on the 21st, the first broadcast was scheduled for 8 PM that day, and N.MIX's Lily, Seol Yoon, Bae Yi, and Kyujin were introduced as guests. The format involves listening to new songs from the new album, sharing behind-the-scenes stories of the comeback, and showcasing performances. Although I haven't watched the broadcast myself, I like the format that covers both the music and the production process.

I heard that 'Green Room' is a program based on an artist's waiting room. I hope we can naturally hear about the preparation process and the reasons behind choosing the songs, which are easy to overlook when only watching the finished performance. If a host with a long singing career listens fully to the guests, we might be able to discover new stories even in songs familiar to fans.

There was an announcement that the broadcast would be aired simultaneously on domestic channels and in Japan, with Japanese interpretation also provided. This effectively opens up a path for fans from different regions to participate in the same music conversations. I hope these opportunities for dialogue last longer than the sales benefits. I hope Seo Eunkwang’s current activities serve as an entry point for fans to comfortably get to know the songs of junior singers.
