BTS V, Lose 10kg, Fans Worldwide Respond

On the 23rd, V posted two photos on the global fandom platform Weverse with the caption, "But recently..! You've lost a lot of weight, right..? I lost 10kg.. Hehehe. I'll work harder."

When a fan wrote, "I miss you, Taehyung. Come hang out with us!", V replied, "Okay!", delighting his fans. Then, when another fan wrote, "Please show me lots of pictures," V replied, "Right now, I feel like taking 100 selfies..." and posted two pictures.

The released photos show V working out his upper body at the gym. His muscular arms stand out as he works out while wearing a yellow beanie and headphones and listening to music. Even though he's wearing a mask, it doesn't hide V's good looks, and his boyish face radiates unexpected charm when compared to his bulked-up body.

Before his enlistment, V revealed his goal during a live broadcast, saying, "When I go to the military, I'm going to become really healthy and strong, and I'm going to build up stamina so that I won't get tired even after performing fifteen concerts. I'm going to gain weight up to 86 kg." Two months after his enlistment, on February 14th of last year, he announced to fans that he was bulking up, saying, "I'll give an interim report. I reached 72.5 kg."

The Pororo sticker on V's phone in the photo caught everyone's attention. V said, "That's from Yakgwa, and they sell it at convenience stores. My cute junior, who is 10 years younger than me, buys me Yakgwa and puts it on me," conveying the small details of his daily life with his young junior and giving a warm feeling.

Fans around the world responded enthusiastically to V's communication. "KIM TAEHYUNG" ranked first on the worldwide real-time trending list, and peaked in over 40 countries including the US, UK, Korea, France, and Google Trends Worldwide. On China's Weibo, "Kim Taehyung's 10kg weight loss" ranked second and "Kim Taehyung's Weverse reply" ranked fourth in entertainment hot searches.
