BTS Jin, March donation fairy and heartwarming story

BTS' Jin took first place in the idol rankings with the enthusiastic support of global fans, and spread good influence by rising as a charity fairy.

Jin took first place with an overwhelming number of votes, receiving 207,245 votes in the March idol rankings conducted on the global fandom platform Star Planet from March 1st to the 15th.

Star Planet announced that it donated 1 million won to the Korean Committee for UNICEF on April 1st in the name of Jin, who ranked first in the idol rankings for March.

Meanwhile, Jin, known as the 'rich man of good deeds', has shown his world-class character by consistently making donations and doing good deeds.

Jin has already become a member of the Honors Club, a group of UNICEF's top donors, since 2019. At the time, he had been donating a certain amount of money every month for a long time without telling those around him about the donation, but UNICEF announced that he had joined the Honors Club, agreeing with the idea that "good influence grows when shared."

Earlier this year, Jin donated 100 million won to Korea University Medical Center to help patients with incurable diseases in developing countries, and as soon as this news was announced, fans flocked to join the 'Global Goodwill Life Love Project', adding to the warmth.

Also, on the 3rd, he moved everyone by volunteering to distribute food to victims of a forest fire at Gilan Middle School in Gilan-myeon, Andong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

Jin, who did not reveal himself while wearing a black hat and cardigan, a gray apron, and a white mask, treated the displaced people sincerely and tried to comfort their pain. Jin, who quietly participated in the food distribution service, is said to have kindly asked the local residents, “How would you like it?” as he distributed the food.

Some residents who saw Jin in person and recognized his identity said they received great comfort and strength. In an interview with a media outlet, a local resident said, “He was a famous celebrity, but in my eyes, he was a kind and honest young man,” and “He worked hard without standing out among other volunteers.”

Big Hit Music, Jin's agency, stated, "Jin participated in the volunteer work because he wanted to provide even a small amount of help to those who were affected by the wildfires."

Following the example of these good deeds, fans are also taking the lead in becoming a model fandom by participating in various voting and other ways to practice good influence.
