Sugar uses his wealth and talents well. Donation News

BTS' Suga (real name Min Yoongi) will donate 5 billion won to Severance Hospital to establish the 'Min Yoongi Treatment Center' to help treat and socially support children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder.

Severance Hospital announced on the 23rd that it held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Min Yoon-gi Treatment Center on the first floor of the hospital's Jejungwan building.

Severance Hospital explained, "Even while promoting with BTS, Suga has consistently engaged in charity work and has taken an ongoing interest in mental health, psychological and behavioral issues, and especially depression in adolescents." They continued, "He has been seeking ways to help through his talent and abilities in music."

Last November, Suga met Professor Chun Geun-ah of Severance Hospital, an authority in the field of pediatric psychiatry, and through several meetings, he learned that patients with autism spectrum disorder need personalized treatment that fits their life cycle rather than short-term treatment.

He agreed that long-term treatment of more than 10 years is necessary to bring about positive changes in the symptoms of autism spectrum disorder, and that a treatment center needs to be established for this purpose, and decided to donate 5 billion won. This is the largest amount of donation by a celebrity to date in the entire Yonsei Medical Center.

I always read about people buying buildings, making huge profits from the price difference, and traveling abroad in the entertainment section of the newspaper, so when I see news like this, my heart is touched. I hope this will be a good example for others to follow.
