It must not have been an easy decision to put your name on the line, but you're amazing, Sugar News

Severance Hospital explained, "Even during BTS's promotions, Suga has consistently engaged in charity work and has taken an ongoing interest in mental health, psychological and behavioral issues, and especially depression in adolescents." They added, "He has been seeking ways to help through his talent and abilities in music."

Last November, Suga met Professor Chun Geun-ah of Severance Hospital, an authority in the field of pediatric psychiatry, and through several meetings, he learned that patients with autism spectrum disorder need personalized treatment that fits their life cycle rather than short-term treatment.

He agreed that long-term treatment of more than 10 years is necessary to bring about positive changes in the symptoms of autism spectrum disorder, and that a treatment center needs to be established for this purpose, and decided to donate 5 billion won. This is the largest amount of donation by a celebrity to date in the entire Yonsei Medical Center.

Professor Suga and Chun also discussed the establishment of a treatment center and music-based social skills training for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder from the end of last year to the beginning of this year. Based on this, a social skills group program called 'MIND' (Music, Interaction, Network, Diversity) was developed by incorporating musical content into existing social skills training programs.

The 'Mind' program contains the meaning of 'increasing interaction and sensory experiences through music, providing opportunities to form social relationships and communicate, learning the process of naturally forming relationships through community, and learning about a society that respects individual diversity and gets along together.'

Even if you have a lot of money, it's not easy. How happy must parents of autistic children be? I hope that autistic children will get better even a little bit on this occasion. I hope that God's grace will be with you on your future path.

I am proud of the fact that I not only donated but also experienced firsthand through volunteer work that music helps with healing, and of the mind program that I created through my direct participation.
