Those who attended the event also had time to bury a time capsule under a monument with the words, “We remember the passionate youth and the time we spent nurturing the army together under the name of Baekho, and we enshrine it here.” The time capsule is scheduled to be reopened on June 29, 2035.

After the event, as J-Hope's photos spread through online communities and SNS, fans and netizens showed enthusiastic reactions such as, "It's impressive that he took the time to visit Wonju," "He is the loyal instructor Jung Ho-seok," and "I didn't know there was an event like this in the military."
