BTS' Jimin receives his first solo nomination at the MTV VMAs.
2025.08.06 14:48
BTS member Jimin has been nominated for the 'Best K-Pop' category at the '2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA)' for his title track 'Who' from his second solo album 'MUSE.'
This marks Jimin's first nomination as an individual, following his four consecutive nominations with BTS, solidifying his position as a solo artist.
'Who' has been steadily gaining popularity, staying on the US Billboard 'Hot 100' chart for 33 weeks, and also won 'K-Pop Song of the Year' at the 'iHeartRadio Music Awards'.
The '2025 MTV VMAs' will be held at the UBS Arena in New York on September 7th.
BTS already swept the VMAs with their activities, and now they're nominated as individuals too!
This is a moment that proves once again that he is a world-class artist.
The song's long-running popularity is truly amazing, as it stayed on the Billboard charts for 33 weeks.
I'm looking forward to the awards ceremony in September!

- 01CommentsThe reward ads look great haha. I really want to see them in person. They'll probably display them nicely on the LED screen. I'm looking forward to it.606126.10.20
- 02CommentsThat's right, Jin's solo career is really amazing too, haha. I think he got overshadowed because there are so many other members who became producers and have hit songs. It's a shame.614126.10.20
- 03CommentsThey are all so lovely. I think they have been together for so long because the members have such great chemistry together haha. There haven't been any member changes either.542126.10.20
