BTS member RM is holding a special exhibition.

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) announced on the 3rd that it will be holding a special exhibition with RM called 'RM x SFMOMA.' This exhibition is the first collaboration between the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and a K-pop artist, and was made possible after the museum first proposed it to RM.

The exhibition, which will run from October 2026 to February 2027, will feature approximately 200 pieces, including works from RM's personal collection and the museum's collection. RM himself will participate as curator, showcasing his artistic sensibility and collecting aesthetic.

RM stated, "I hope this exhibition will serve as a space for reflection on the boundaries between East and West, Korea and America, modern and contemporary, and the individual and the universal. I hope it will serve as a small but strong bridge for many." Chief Curator Janet Bishop added, "Visitors will have an unprecedented opportunity to appreciate RM's collection alongside the rest of the collection and experience the dialogue between them."

RM's collection includes works by masters of Korean contemporary art and renowned artists from around the world, many of which are being introduced to the public for the first time through this exhibition.
