BTS's RM shares his thoughts on marriage and children on Weverse!

BTS member RM (real name Kim Namjoon) has become an issue after expressing his belief that marriage and childbirth are personal choices during a live broadcast on the fan community 'Weverse'.

He said that marriage is not the answer to loneliness, stating that “it is not right to use marriage as an escape from loneliness” and that “time spent alone can also be meaningful.”

She also shared her honest concerns, saying, "There are times when even raising oneself feels overwhelming. It's not easy to decide to take responsibility for a new life." She also noted that both married and unmarried people can share their perspectives.

RM also delivered the message that they see the 90s generation in Korea as “the first generation for whom marriage is a choice,” and that they hope to live the lives they each choose without social pressure.

I feel like he is a truly thoughtful and warm person because of his honest attitude of acknowledging the responsibility for a new life and the weight of taking care of himself.

The message of “live your own way” rather than being subject to social standards or pressure resonates with the listener.

As a fan, I'm proud of you. It's wonderful to have someone with such clarity and deep conviction.
