It's shocking that the special law requires military service even if you win a Nobel Prize.
2025.10.22 07:20
Regarding the recent special military service exemption tidings After reading it, I had many thoughts.
The expression "an international competition in name only" struck me as bitter, and I was surprised to learn that as many as 210 people had benefited from this.
Of course, discovering talent in the arts and sports fields is important, but it made me think deeply about whether the criteria are truly fair and objective.
Looking at the case of BTS, I thought that as K-pop's status has risen, the standards for military service exemptions in the cultural and artistic fields should be reexamined to meet international standards.
In particular, the special standards law that requires military service even for Nobel Prize winners is shocking.
I look forward to seeing what changes the Military Manpower Administration will make in the future.

- 01CommentsThat's right, Jin's solo career is really amazing too, haha. I think he got overshadowed because there are so many other members who became producers and have hit songs. It's a shame.10613326.10.20
