The issue of fairness in special military service exemptions was raised during the National Assembly Defense Committee's audit of the Military Manpower Administration.
Those who have won music awards around the world like BTS
There was an opinion to revise the Enforcement Decree of the Military Service Act to allow for the transfer of those to the Arts and Sports Department.
You all agree, right?
The fact that BTS had to serve in the military for the Nobel Prize is really debatable as to its fairness.
It is said that 91% of the total target group benefited from domestic competitions that were only international in name.
People like BTS, who have created an economic effect of 56 trillion won, are not exempted from military service, while people who have not provided much benefit to the Republic of Korea are receiving the benefits of military service. I think this really needs to be improved.
