BTS was selected for the Golden Disc Powerhouse 40.
2025.10.23 19:35
The Golden Disc Awards announced the "Golden Disc Powerhouse 40," which selects 40 influential figures in the history of Korean popular music.
The "Golden Disc Powerhouse 40" is significant in that it compiles the history of Korean popular music over the past 40 years. It can be interpreted as a benchmark for reflecting on the past, examining the present, and illuminating the future. The nominees range from those who pioneered new musical genres or created music that represented an era to those who established industry systems and introduced Korean popular music culture to the world.
Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the 40th Golden Disc Awards is preparing a more dazzling lineup and stage than ever before. It will be held at the Taipei Dome in Taiwan on January 10, 2026.
Congratulations on being selected as one of the Golden Disc Powerhouse 40.
This is a proud announcement.
I look forward to future records as well.
