There are a lot of voices criticizing J-Hope Street.
2025.10.23 21:28
On the 23rd, Gwangju Buk-gu Council Member Son Hye-jin criticized the Hope Street created around BTS member J-Hope's alma mater, calling it "administrative for show."
Rep. Son criticized the project, which was pushed forward without considering residents' opinions or reviewing its feasibility, during the second plenary session of the 305th extraordinary session, saying, "This project is a model of wartime administration."
Oh, I wish it had worked out properly. It's too bad.
As a Gwangju resident, I was looking forward to it.
Why was this pushed forward without a feasibility study? Isn't this a perfect example of exhibitionist administration? It's deserving of criticism. If it had been prepared and implemented smoothly and without problems, it would have become a famous street. It's so disappointing.
