Jungkook, charting for 123 consecutive weeks... setting an endless record
2025.11.26 08:36
I just saw news that Jungkook has set another incredible record. His solo debut song, "Seven," ranked 163rd on the Billboard Global 200 chart, staying on the chart for 123 consecutive weeks. That's a first and longest streak for an Asian solo artist, which is truly remarkable. He's also ranked 94th on the global (excluding the US) chart, staying on the chart for 122 consecutive weeks, which shows that he has a lot of regular listeners.
On Spotify, "Seven" has been on the Global Top Songs chart for 123 weeks, accumulating over 2.6 billion streams. It's also notable that it debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and on the UK Official Charts, it debuted at number three and remained in the top 100 for 14 weeks, demonstrating its influence.
In particular, "Seven" is the first Asian artist to hold the top spot on two Billboard global charts for multiple weeks simultaneously. They are also the only artists to have three songs top the global charts in a single year: "Seven," "3D," and "Standing Next to You."
Looking at these records, I naturally look forward to what the future holds.
