V's "Christmas Tree" has been selected as one of Billboard's "30 Best Christmas Songs of the 21st Century."
2025.12.18 08:56
V's song "Christmas Tree" was selected as one of Billboard's "30 Greatest Christmas Songs of the 21st Century." It ranked 24th this year, following its 19th place finish last year, and is the only K-pop song to make the list.
Billboard praised the delicate atmosphere and emotion of "Christmas Tree," saying that it was selected as one of the musically special songs among the numerous Christmas songs released since 2000.
This song is an OST for the drama "That Year, Us," and received favorable reviews for how V's soft voice captured the drama's emotional lines well. Released on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2021, it ranked 79th on Billboard's "Hot 100" and 55th on the "Holiday Hot 100," becoming the first K-OST to top Billboard's "Holiday Digital Song Sales" chart.
With this song, V once again proved his global popularity by becoming the first K-pop solo artist to top the US Digital Song Sales chart.

- 01CommentsThat's right, Jin's solo career is really amazing too, haha. I think he got overshadowed because there are so many other members who became producers and have hit songs. It's a shame.10613326.10.20
