BTS RM's voice, the future of HYBE~

This morning's column discusses a message BTS's RM sent during a Weverse Live broadcast. This line, "I wish our company would show us a little more affection," isn't simply a rumor of discord, but rather a crucial signal of where HYBE is currently at. While it's true that HYBE has succeeded with a multi-label structure, reducing its reliance on BTS for revenue, we must not forget that BTS is the fundamental force that established HYBE's brand value and identity.

RM's comments were said to stem from the company's structural view of BTS as "one of its highly efficient IPs" and the members as "the core axes of writing a common narrative." This isn't a financial issue, but rather a criticism of the lack of respect and explanation during the production process. While HYBE may be stable without BTS in the short term, BTS is unique in terms of long-term brand power and symbolism. RM's comment is said to be a loving question about the continuation of the relationship rather than a breakup, so it is anticipated what HYBE's response will be.
