어마어마하네요 벌써 400만장이군요
[talk] It's only been two months since their comeback, but BTS already has 4 million pre-orders. That's amazing.
With just two months left until their comeback, their fifth full-length album 'ARIRANG' is already shaking up the music industry from the pre-order stage.
According to album distributors, "Arirang" sold 4.06 million copies in just one week after pre-orders began. This figure far surpasses the previous record of 3.42 million copies sold by "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" in the same period in 2020.
With about two months still left until the official release, there are projections that it will easily surpass 5 million copies if the current trend continues.
'Arirang' is a new full-length album released by the group approximately 3 years and 9 months after the anthology album 'Proof' in June 2022.
The album is scheduled for release on March 20th at 1 PM KST and will reportedly contain a total of 14 tracks. This is the first album released by the seven members under their own names after spending time separately for military service and individual activities, so fans around the world are highly anticipating this album.
Their promotional activities are already planned on a massive scale. They are expected to hold a large-scale comeback concert at Gwanghwamun Square on March 20th, the day of their comeback, and the following weekend, March 20th and 21st. They will then embark on a world tour, starting with a performance at Goyang Stadium on April 9th, for a total of 79 performances in 34 cities around the world.
Just looking at the numbers, it's a schedule that makes you realize that "they're really back as a complete group," so I think this year will literally be a year of running together with BTS.
