[All] BTS's free comeback concert in Gwanghwamun is coming soon!!
BTS is holding a free concert in Gwanghwamun to celebrate their comeback...
They say it's a standing concert for 2,000 people, so just thinking about it... I think it'll be a huge crowd.
I decided not to go anywhere that day lol
Please be safe first and foremost!!!
I hope the concert can be held safely with the fans in an orderly manner.
(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Choi Joo-seong = The free comeback concert to be held by the group BTS next month is expected to attract around 15,000 spectators in the Gwanghwamun Square area alone.
According to the music industry on the 10th, the organizers are discussing with the Seoul Metropolitan Government a plan to allow a total of 15,000 people, including standing areas and designated seats, to enter the Gwanghwamun Square area where 'BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE: ARIRANG' will be held on March 21st.
"BTS Comeback Live: Arirang" is a free concert held the day after the release of BTS's fifth full-length album, "Arirang." BTS is planning to perform at a stage set up at the northern starting point of Gwanghwamun Square, starting from Gyeongbokgung Palace, passing Gwanghwamun and Wolde.
BTS announced on the fan platform Weverse that they will be accepting applications from those who pre-order their fifth full-length album until the 13th and will provide standing area tickets to 2,000 people.
According to the seating chart released together, the stage is T-shaped with a protrusion, and the standing area is structured to surround the central protruding stage.
Reserved seating will be located along Gwanghwamun Square, behind the standing area. While the exact seating capacity has not yet been determined, it is reported that a capacity of approximately 15,000 seats, including 2,000 standing and reserved seating, is being discussed. Reserved seating reservations will be available on Nol Ticket starting on the 23rd.
The organizers are also said to be discussing a plan to install a large screen near Seoul Plaza to allow people to watch the performance.
There's also the possibility that even larger crowds could gather if fans who couldn't secure tickets show up at the venue. Police estimate that 230,000 people will flock from the concert stage to Daehanmun Gate at Deoksugung Palace, and 260,000 to Sungnyemun Gate.
The performance will be live streamed to over 190 countries worldwide via Netflix. This marks the first time a major event held in Korea has been broadcast live globally via Netflix.
