BTS's beloved rapper and producer Min Yoongi — known to fans as Suga — celebrated his 33rd birthday on March 9, and ARMY made sure the whole world knew it.

The day kicked off with a surprise party at the HYBE building, where all six members — RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — gathered with staff to sing Happy Birthday as Suga walked in, visibly shy but smiling as he blew out his candles.

RM also posted a never-before-seen photo of Yoongi looking like a sleepy mandu (dumpling), captioned simply "HBD."

Later, Suga held a Weverse Live for fans, where J-Hope jumped into the comments and jokingly wrote "Yoongi marry me," sending both the members and ARMY into fits of laughter.

On the giving side, Suga marked his 33rd year with a donation of 5 billion won (approximately $3.8M USD) to Severance Hospital to establish a specialized center dedicated to autism research and pediatric music therapy.

The official BTS account also shared a black-and-white tribute video set to SDL by his Agust D alter ego, which crossed 1.4 million likes in just three hours.

With BTS's new album ARIRANG dropping on March 20 and the world tour kicking off April 9, Suga wrapped up his livestream by promising fans he'd be back soon and asking them to stay healthy until the group's upcoming releases and concerts begin.
