Controversy over the red color in the BTS comeback celebration lighting and HYBE's explanation
2026.03.19 07:03
The Seoul Metropolitan Government lit up 15 major landmarks in red to mark BTS's comeback. It is said that HYIVE requested this as it is the theme color of the 'Arirang' album. Fans reacted negatively, expressing concerns about political interpretations due to the choice of red instead of purple. HYIVE issued an official statement asking people to refrain from excessive political interpretations. I hope fans will join in supporting the preparations for this comeback event.
