I wish I can go to a concert as well
[talk] The ARIRANG World Tour: 82 Dates, 23 Countries, History in Motion
BTS does not do anything small. The Arirang World Tour, which kicked off on April 9, 2026 in Goyang, South Korea, is the biggest thing they have ever attempted — and that is saying something.
The tour spans more than 82 dates in 34 cities across 23 countries, running from April 2026 through 2027. It also marks the first BTS concert tour with full audiences since the Love Yourself World Tour in 2018 and 2019, following the Map of the Soul Tour's cancellation due to COVID-19.
The tour opens at Goyang Stadium on April 9, 11, and 12, then moves to Tokyo Dome on April 17 and 18 — both runs completely sold out. It then rolls into North America from late April, through Europe in the summer, and Latin America in October. Latin America dates include Bogotá, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and multiple nights in São Paulo.
Despite covering more regions than ever before and tripling their ticket inventory, BTS's tour sold out in 20 minutes. Their previous Permission to Dance tour in 2021–2022 had sold out in 5–6 hours. Some resale tickets on StubHub were reported at nearly $7,276 — roughly 40 times the original face value.
Within 48 hours of the January 13 tour announcement, travel searches for Seoul increased by 155% and Busan by 2,375%. In Kaohsiung, Taiwan, searches surged 6,700% year-on-year during the announcement period.
The ARIRANG World Tour is not just a concert series. It is the largest cultural homecoming in K-pop history — and it is just beginning.
