Even the members were initially taken aback by Chairman Bang Si-hyuk's insistence on 'Arirang'.

A documentary capturing the behind-the-scenes story of BTS's new album 'ARIRANG' is currently a hot topic. It is said that Chairman Bang Si-hyuk pushed for this concept to capture the iconic scene of overseas fans singing along to the Arirang chorus. Initially, the members were unfamiliar with the concept—whether it was too blatantly "nationalistic"—and Jimin even confessed that he wanted to hide. However, the group ultimately proved that the strategy worked by topping the Billboard and UK charts. While the title track 'SWIM' is a sophisticated English song, incorporating Korean sounds throughout the album seems to have been a decisive move to overcome the higher hurdle of the Grammys. Given the members' deep contemplation and hard work, I sincerely hope that this promotional period will bear fruit in the form of a Grammy win!
