Chinese nationals were caught by the police at a performance venue in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on charges of ticket scalping and possession of counterfeit tickets. The Gyeonggi Ilsanseobu Police Station referred a woman in her 20s, identified as A, to the prosecution for engaging in illegal ticket distribution near the venue and refusing to provide identification.

According to the investigation, A participated in the crime by acting on online instructions to personally fasten admission wristbands to buyers. The police confiscated all 30 or so ticket wristbands at the scene. Additionally, B, a Chinese man possessing a large quantity of fake concert tickets, was apprehended via drone surveillance and referred to the prosecution on charges of violating the Immigration Control Act. However, B was excluded from fraud charges as the tickets did not lead to actual sales.

The investigation revealed that those caught participated in the crime meticulously, acting under organized instructions and even putting fake wristbands on the fans. It is unforgivable that they attempted to sell fake tickets by exploiting the pure hearts of fans who stayed up all night to reserve them. I sincerely hope they receive severe punishment!
