If you're trying to buy BTS Arirang tour tickets from resellers, be very careful — scammers have taken things to a bizarre new level. When one fan asked a reseller to send proof of their ticket, the screenshot they received featured a completely unrecognizable AI-generated image of BTS, apparently used as fake "evidence." The botched image went viral, with fans horrified and laughing at the same time. This comes on top of a wider scam wave — cybersecurity firm Kaspersky identified at least 10 fake ticketing websites created in early April 2026 across nine countries including Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and France. The sites look nearly identical to official platforms and are designed to steal money from eager fans. Always buy directly from official sources, and type the URL yourself — never click links sent through social media or DMs.
