News that Jin will personally appear as a MapleStory event boss
2026.05.07 23:52
I was genuinely amazed and amused when I heard the news that Jin is personally appearing as a MapleStory event boss lol. It’s so typical of Kim Seokjin that he didn't just lend his face for a collaboration, but actually came up with ideas and participated in the planning himself. It’s already well-known among fans that he’s serious about MapleStory, so it’s hilarious that he’s now actually stepped right into the game as a boss.
In particular, the fact that it was designed to be cleared with control skills rather than high specs really gave off the vibe of someone who genuinely loves the game. The description of patterns centered on "fundamental skills" also made me laugh because it felt like the sentiment of a long-time MapleStory player lol. Seeing the reward items, like rings that change head or body size, makes me feel like Jin's taste has been incorporated, so I'm looking forward to it even more.
