BTS to appear as co-headliners in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final halftime show
The World Cup final halftime show holds special significance as it is a massive stage shared by hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide. In particular, the fact that BTS has been named a co-headliner alongside global pop stars Madonna and Shakira makes us realize their global status once again.
The mere fact that they will be sharing the stage with artists representing each era heightens anticipation. I am already curious to see what kind of special stage will be created as their distinct musical styles and performances blend together. It seems that BTS’s signature energetic performances and moving stage presence will make the excitement of the World Cup final even hotter.
I am truly proud that BTS is a part of this global festival moment where music and sports come together. I am already looking forward to BTS's performance, where they will stand shoulder to shoulder with world-class stars and once again demonstrate the presence of K-pop.
