Why Fans' Anger Erupted Ahead of BTS Concert

It really upsets me to see the news that another controversy over price gouging on accommodations has erupted ahead of the BTS concert in Busan. Many fans travel from far away to see BTS perform, so I was shocked to hear that accommodation prices, which used to be around 60,000 won, have suddenly skyrocketed to millions of won. There are even reports of bookings being accepted only to be unilaterally cancelled, causing a huge backlash from fans. I am really looking forward to the concert itself, but it is a shame that these issues seem to be dampening the atmosphere. As a result, there is a growing sentiment among fans to travel overnight without an overnight stay or to start a boycott. BTS concerts always deliver legendary performances and generate a massive economic impact, so I really hope these kinds of price gouging controversies disappear. I am actually more worried because it could negatively impact Korea's image among international fans. Still, seeing the fans continue to share information and help each other until the very end was quite touching. As expected, the power of BTS and ARMY is incredible, even in situations like this.
