BTS's class is insane, winning the AMA Grand Prize again.
2026.05.26 14:03
BTS has made history once again at the American Music Awards (AMA), one of the three major US popular music awards ceremonies. Haha.
The news that they won the 'Artist of the Year' award—equivalent to the Grand Prize—for the second time in their career gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
The AMA Artist of the Year award is one of the most influential awards given to the world's most influential artists, so it holds immense significance. The fact that BTS has won such an award not once, but for the second time, makes me feel like they have now gone beyond mere popularity and are writing a page in the history of global music.
I think it’s truly amazing that they are consistently recognized, especially in the heart of the U.S. music market. I was always surprised whenever they set a new record, but getting their name repeatedly named in top-tier award categories like this is really not something just anyone can do, haha.
