Did you hear the news that BTS is collaborating with Oreo to release a limited edition cookie? I was even more surprised to hear that the members personally participated in the product planning and that it comes in the flavor of Hotteok, a Korean street snack. They say it reinterprets the sweet taste of Hotteok with brown sugar into cookie cream, and just reading the description makes me curious about the combination.

I think it is particularly meaningful that it is being released in over 80 countries worldwide. It feels less like a simple collaboration and more like they are globally promoting Korean flavors and memories, which made me feel proud for some reason. BTS has always naturally introduced Korean culture, and it seems like they are really showcasing it properly this time as well.

Hearing that the members have been eating Oreos since they were young and still enjoy them in the studio made them feel even closer. I thought it was truly typical of BTS to see them introduce the taste of their hometown to fans around the world together with a brand that holds childhood memories.
