BTS Speaks Out Directly to Busan Accommodation Controversy

With the controversy over exorbitant accommodation rates continuing ahead of the BTS World Tour Arirang IN Busan next month, it is so unfortunate that even the members themselves have finally spoken out.
After finishing the AMA schedule, RM expressed his frustration on Weverse Live, saying, “There is a lot of news about the accommodation issue in Busan,” and Jimin also said, “I feel a bit down,” which made the fans’ hearts feel heavy for no reason.

I was especially upset because RM’s remark, “Even if we wanted to resolve it, there is nothing we can do,” sounded so realistic. I imagine the members really want the fans coming to the concert to leave with only happy and good memories, but since the controversy over accommodation issues kept arising, it seemed like they were worried too.

It was also impressive that even Jimin, who is from Busan, joined in expressing his sorrow. Following that, when RM said in the Busan dialect, “Let’s stop this,” it felt bittersweet yet I could really feel his sincerity. There were many reactions among fans saying, “If even the members are stepping forward, it must be serious.”

In fact, the BTS concert is a massive festival-like event where domestic and international fans visit Busan, so it is a real shame that the atmosphere is being tarnished by this controversy.
