It's such a shame that the price gouging issues keep popping up right before every performance.

There are huge news reports again about how some accommodations raised their rates too much ahead of the BTS concert, eventually forcing the government to step in. It really makes me automatically say, "Enough is enough."
With the BTS concert in Busan approaching, domestic and international fans are flocking to the area. It has been reported that room rates at some accommodations have risen by nearly 10 to 20 times compared to usual. With reviews appearing online claiming that a single night's stay has skyrocketed from hundreds of thousands to millions of won, it really seems excessive. Haha.
For this reason, there are growing concerns that this could negatively impact Busan's tourism image. As the controversy spread, the members of BTS also expressed their concerns directly. Through fan communication platforms, the members conveyed their sorrow, stating, "People need to stop," and "I heard there are fans who are looking for saunas because they can't find accommodation," which is truly relatable.
In response, the government has decided to push for the introduction of the so-called 'Price Guarantee System,' which requires accommodation rates to be reported and disclosed in advance; I sincerely hope people will act within reasonable limits. In particular, the government is considering immediate business suspension for cases involving false price displays, failure to adhere to reported rates, or cancellations without justifiable grounds. The government and Busan City also plan to secure approximately 1,300 alternative accommodation units by utilizing university dormitories and public institution training centers. I hope this Busan event marks the 13th anniversary without any major controversy haha.
