The government is stepping up its pressure across the board regarding price gouging in the accommodation industry ahead of the BTS concerts scheduled for the 12th and 13th in Busan. They plan to establish standards requiring business owners who unilaterally cancel existing reservations with the intention of reselling at inflated prices to return deposits and provide an additional compensation of 200% of the cancelled accommodation fees. That is a good measure.
