News has emerged that the police are filing a lawsuit for damages against the author and others who posted terror threats targeting the BTS concert in Gwanghwamun.
I believe that those responsible must be held accountable, as false threatening posts cause anxiety among many citizens and place a significant burden on concert preparations and safety management. This crime can never be taken lightly, especially for large-scale performances where countless fans and audiences gather, as massive manpower and costs are invested in ensuring safety.
Although it was a threat directed at BTS, it ultimately endangered the safety of fans and the entire public, so a stern response seems necessary. I hope this lawsuit serves as an opportunity to raise awareness regarding false threats and crimes of public intimidation.
