I heard the news that the police are filing a lawsuit for damages against the author who posted terror threats targeting the BTS concert in Gwanghwamun.
Personally, I believe that such false threatening posts are a problem that cannot be dismissed as a mere prank. This is because safety is paramount, especially at large-scale events like BTS concerts where countless fans and citizens gather in one place. A single threatening post is enough to make not only the concert organizers but also the audience attending the venue feel anxious.
In reality, if something like this happens, it incurs significant social costs as additional security personnel, safety inspections, and various response systems are activated. Since it causes unnecessary worry for both the people who prepared the performance and the fans, I don't think it is an action that can be taken lightly.
