Sometimes, when you listen back to songs that were popular a few years ago, you often find yourself not seeking them out anymore. However, strangely enough, I keep hearing BTS songs even as time passes. They play on TV, at events, and you naturally come across them on someone else's playlist.
So, rather than the feeling of being a 'team that was popular for a while,' I have a stronger impression of them being a team that is remembered for a long time. While they have been consistently active for a long time, I can feel that the results they have built up over that period are continuing. It is not common for a group to have their representative songs immediately come to mind just by hearing their name, even after several years have passed, but BTS seems to be one of those teams.
