I'm writing this post to talk with the fans because I felt frustrated after seeing the article about the Grammys' clarification this morning. You all saw the article, right? It makes me feel bad to see them trying to gloss over the disappointment that artists and fans have felt with just two words: "misunderstanding." However, when I heard the news about this boycott, I felt like all the frustration that had been building up inside me just vanished. I can feel how much thought our kids put into this principled decision, and it makes me want to support them even more. We are no longer willing to accept stages that don't know how to treat artists with sincerity!
