BTS's new world tour 'ARIRANG' has garnered a positive response from local governments along with the success of its North American tour.
On the 10th, the Toronto City Council deliberated and passed a proposal to name some downtown roads "BTS Boulevards" from the upcoming 21st to the 23rd of next month, coinciding with the BTS concert. The council decided to request that city authorities officially declare the 22nd and 23rd, when the local concert is held, as "BTS Weekend," and Big Hit Music, the agency, confirmed that there had been an inquiry from Toronto regarding approval for the use of intellectual property (IP).

BTS, currently on a North American tour that began in New York this month, will take the stage in Baltimore on the 10th–11th, Arlington on the 15th–16th, and Toronto on the 22nd–23rd. Maryland Governor Wes Moore, whose state includes Baltimore, delivered a welcoming message via a social media video, calling out the names of the seven members one by one, and the video also included Korean subtitles.
Previously, in Mexico City, President Claudia Sheinbaum presented the members with a commemorative plaque, and in Paris, President Emmanuel Macron and his wife attended the performance. El Paso County in Texas, USA, also awarded BTS the 'Estimado Amigo' award and declared the concert dates as 'El Paso BTS Weekend'.
BTS is continuing this world tour, the largest in K-pop history, starting at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in April of this year, and is attracting attention wherever they go.
