BTS’s ‘SWIM’ Charts for 20 Consecutive Weeks

I am truly proud of the news that BTS’s "SWIM" has charted on the U.S. Billboard "Hot 100" for 20 consecutive weeks. As a fan, I believe this record goes beyond just a single ranking; it is a legendary achievement that once again demonstrates the enduring power of BTS, who continue to be loved over time. In particular, the fact that they maintained their position on the "Hot 100" for a whopping 20 weeks after making a spectacular debut at number one on the chart dated April 4th feels truly remarkable. It is even more meaningful as a fan that they have matched the all-time record of 20 weeks on the chart set by "Butter" in 2021.

We also cannot leave out their performance on global charts. 'SWIM' ranked 4th on the 'Global (excluding US)' and 12th on the 'Global 200,' and notably, it has maintained an amazing record of 20 consecutive weeks in the Top 10 on the 'Global (excluding US).' Furthermore, tracks from the 5th studio album, including 'NORMAL,' have also made it onto various charts, making us even prouder of the fact that the entire album is consistently receiving love. It is truly amazing to hear that their 5th studio album, 'Arirang,' also climbed one spot from the previous week to rank 14 on the Billboard 200. Considering that this album already held the number one spot for a total of three weeks and set the record for the longest stay in the Top 10 by a Korean artist, seeing its rankings rise again over time makes me realize just how strong the vitality of BTS's music is. The news of their 20 consecutive weeks on the chart is also a legendary milestone that, as a fan, I want to remember for a long time.
