I am truly proud to hear the news of the enthusiastic welcome from North American local governments for BTS’s Arirang Tour. Just the fact that an atmosphere welcoming BTS is being created throughout cities, going beyond simply hosting concerts, makes me realize just how immense their global influence is. It is truly amazing to hear that road names are being temporarily changed and that governors are even personally delivering welcome messages in Korean. It is also incredibly impressive to see local cities and fans coming together to welcome BTS, transcending borders and languages. As a fan, I feel especially proud that Korean music and culture are naturally spreading to every corner of the world through BTS. I hope this tour, which blends Korean sentiment with global music just like the name Arirang suggests, becomes a special time that North American fans will remember for a long time, and I cheer for them to continue creating wonderful records and touching moments in the future!
