How far does BTS's influence extend?

The local government in Chicago, USA, has extended an official welcome to BTS for their concert.
According to Big Hit Music (HYBE), the agency, on the 24th, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker designated and declared the period as "BTS Day in Illinois" to coincide with the schedule of the world tour "Arirang" to be held at Soldier Field in Chicago on the 27th and 28th (local time).
It is said that the declaration specifies that BTS has fostered social solidarity through music, including raising awareness of mental health, promoting self-love, and engaging in charitable activities.

I suppose this is a result of recognizing not only their music but also their influence.
