News has been released about BTS being nominated for the 2026 MTV VMA.

News has come out that BTS has received their third nomination for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards. It is even more welcome news that their fellow HYBE family member, Cortis, also received their third nomination.

This year, they have been running non-stop with their comeback album "Arirang" and even going on tour. Seeing their names consistently called at overseas awards ceremonies makes me feel like their hiatus was insignificant.

It feels truly meaningful to see the seven members, who had each held their own during their military hiatus through solo activities, come together to achieve such results. In particular, it was great to see them nominated alongside rookie groups, as it gave the impression that seniors and juniors are leading K-pop together.

BTS is currently busy preparing for their South American tour in October, so I'm not sure yet if they will be able to attend the awards ceremony in person. Still, I am looking forward to it because if the results come out, it will be another piece of good news during the tour.

I think it would be great if ARMYs participated once the voting opens. I will share the results again when they are available.
