The role of a true fan is to protect and safeguard the object of their affection.

I have come to deeply realize once again that no matter how strong our affection is, we must not infringe upon an artist's personal space and time. An environment where privacy is not protected can cause immense mental stress and anxiety to an artist. It was so unfortunate and heartbreaking to see that the situation was serious enough for RM to step forward and appeal for help himself. Since protecting and safeguarding the object of one's affection is the true role of a fan, I believe it is absolutely necessary to maintain physical distance while respecting their privacy.
